Role Overview

As a Brand Designer on the Tendem project, you will serve as the lead visual architect, focusing on creating and maintaining foundational brand assets such as logos, visual identities, and color palettes. Your role involves setting a lasting visual standard and ensuring cohesive representation across digital and print mediums using industry-standard design applications.

Primary Responsibilities

Design and develop key brand elements, including logos, comprehensive visual identities, and detailed color systems
Organize, manage, and deliver multiple variations of central brand components systematically
Preserve brand consistency by acting as the gatekeeper for all internal and external visuals, including pitch decks and social media kits
Create scalable and enduring visual frameworks that meet contemporary design criteria
Validate design quality across platforms to guarantee flawless brand expression in both digital and print forms

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or closely related disciplines is advantageous
Strong portfolio featuring brand identity projects, logo work, and comprehensive style guidelines that demonstrate a deep grasp of translating brand essence across multiple media
Strategically minded with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously in building sustainable visual systems

Technical Expertise Required

Skilled in creating foundational brand assets including scalable logos, distinct color schemes, and typographic systems
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for design creation and asset management
Experienced in adapting brand elements across varied mediums such as digital social media and printed materials
Ability to develop and maintain clear brand guidelines, style guides, and asset libraries to support team use

Strong commitment to preserving visual consistency and serving as the brand gatekeeper
Self-driven work ethic capable of independent problem-solving and producing high-quality outputs
Portfolio including examples of branding work (logos, identity systems, guidelines) must be submitted with application
Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level or above (B2 or higher)

Time Commitment

Estimated work hours during active project phases are approximately 10–20 hours per week. This estimation varies based on project needs and is not guaranteed.

Compensation Details

Freelancers may earn up to $50 per hour, dependent on their experience and productivity. Payment may fluctuate according to project scope and complexity across different assignments on the platform.
