Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Framing Superintendent to oversee all wood framing activities on our large-scale multifamily residential projects. The role demands effective management to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality framing work aligned with project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the entire framing field operations, collaborating with the Project Superintendent to achieve project objectives.
• Examine framing plans, shop drawings, submittals, and specifications to validate accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Organize sequencing, scheduling, logistics, and manpower for framing tasks.
• Identify and communicate needs for long-lead materials to guarantee timely acquisition and delivery.
• Oversee framing inspections ensuring adherence to jurisdictional codes and project quality standards.
• Guide framing subcontractors and labor teams, monitor performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare daily reports, quality assurance/control documents, punch lists, safety checks, and other required records.
• Ensure efficient delivery and staging of framing materials, equipment, and tools to maintain smooth workflow.
• Manage framing budgets strictly, holding subcontractors responsible for their performance, quality, and contract compliance.
• Maintain alignment of framing progress with the overall construction schedule.
• Promote a safe, organized, and tidy framing workspace.

Qualifications and Skills

• Two to five years of experience in framing or structural construction.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working under time-sensitive conditions.
• Effective at building strong working relationships with subcontractors and accountable for outcomes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with construction technologies including email, Microsoft Office Suite, and Procore software.
• Ability to collaborate positively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork aptitude.
• Strong skills in coordinating and managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
• Adept at maintaining focus, adaptiveness, and solution-oriented approach during intense construction phases.
