Role Overview and Responsibilities
This role involves working directly with the Founder to lead critical special projects that span various organizational functions, ensuring end-to-end execution. Key duties include conducting in-depth market, competitor, and client research to inform strategic decision-making, drafting essential internal documentation such as standard operating procedures and policies crucial for organizational scaling, and managing investor relations activities.
Investor relations responsibilities encompass preparing regular investor communications including updates, management information system (MIS) reports, and board-level presentations; developing and maintaining pitch materials, comprehensive business plans, and financial models to facilitate fundraising efforts. The associate will also oversee the data room and due diligence paperwork during investment phases, coordinate investor engagement and follow-up, maintain capitalization tables, investor logs, and compliance schedules, as well as research prospective investors and prepare briefing materials for the Founder.
The role also requires building and monitoring MIS dashboards to track departmental KPIs, identifying and addressing deviations proactively, facilitating cross-departmental coordination to eliminate execution roadblocks, and supporting key processes such as government incentive applications and strategic partnerships. Confidential stakeholder management is another critical aspect, representing the Founder's office in meetings with vendors, customers, and other external parties, while maintaining discretion with sensitive information.
