Role overview
This position is for a Facility Executive focused on both technical and soft services at HSR Layout, Bengaluru. The role sits within the Facilities (FCLS) department and is meant for a full-time professional with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Technical services
- Oversee critical power systems such as DG sets, UPS units, panel boards, earthing systems, and LT panels.
- Monitor HVAC infrastructure, including AHUs, ductable air-conditioning units, VRF/VRV systems, and VFD performance.
- Coordinate lift operations, including AMC follow-ups, statutory safety certificates, and routine inspection checks.
- Ensure fire and life-safety systems remain functional through alarm checks, extinguisher readiness, sprinkler upkeep, and evacuation drills.
- Manage plumbing and water systems, including pumps and the upkeep of STP and WTP installations.
Soft services
- Supervise housekeeping activities such as everyday cleaning, periodic deep cleaning, and care of carpet and marble surfaces.
- Coordinate security operations, including guard deployment, visitor handling, and CCTV oversight.
- Track pest-control schedules, carry out monthly treatments, and monitor food-service areas for hygiene compliance.
- Support pantry operations by coordinating vendors and ensuring hygiene and supply availability.
Vendor and asset management
- Handle AMC vendors, service agreements, SLAs, contract renewals, and related coordination.
- Maintain accurate asset records, including tagging, movement tracking, and disposal history.
Client and occupant coordination
- Serve as the main contact point for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Respond quickly to complaints, walkthrough requirements, and escalations.
- Help maintain a workplace that is safe, clean, and fully operational.
Team and shift management
- Lead technicians, housekeeping teams, and other support staff.
- Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and review team performance.
Reporting and documentation
- Keep daily and weekly checklists, equipment logbooks, and operational records up to date.
- Prepare incident reports and follow the escalation matrix where required.
- Compile monthly performance dashboards covering energy usage, complaints, and costs.
