About Exyte and the Role

Exyte is expanding its team by hiring several estimator professionals specialized in electrical, mechanical, and Civil Structural/Architectural (CSA) fields to support projects across Europe. The positions are based in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland.

Within the Data Centers (DTC) Division, Exyte offers full-spectrum services from design through construction for data centers worldwide. Their projects include intelligence data centers, hyperscale data centers, colocation sites, and cloud-computing centers that utilize both conventional and modular construction methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support preparing cost estimates for projects.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications; collaborate closely with the team to ensure all scope elements are captured.
• Assist the estimating department in building databases and benchmarking, coordinating with corporate stakeholders to collect important estimating data.
• Engage actively in project and team meetings.
• Review vendor and subcontractor bids thoroughly.
• Calculate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors accurately.
• Align proposal and construction schedules in cooperation with the Planning and Scheduling teams.
• Help prepare detailed execution plans and respond to technical queries.
• Collaborate with the proposal sponsor or coordinator to gather and organize required bid submission documentation.
• Support project teams during preparation phases as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant sectors such as construction, mechanical, electrical, or CSA disciplines.
• Hold a degree or higher education qualification in an applicable field.
• Have prior estimating experience, preferably related to Data Center projects.
