About the Role
Serenades at West Orange, a Memory Care community managed by AgeWell Solvere Living, is seeking a skilled Executive Director to oversee daily operations and enrich the lives of residents in Winter Garden, FL (near Orlando). This position is vital in ensuring high-quality care and exceptional customer service within a thriving senior living environment certified as a Great Place to Work for eight consecutive years.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as accrediting standards.
- Prepare for regulatory inspections through regular audits of policies, documentation, and environmental standards.
- Manage financial operations including monthly reporting, budget adherence, accounts receivable, and maximizing all revenue streams.
- Increase and sustain community occupancy according to targets.
- Encourage staff involvement in operational decisions and foster team building through leadership and regular meetings.
- Provide ongoing staff management including recruitment, hiring, evaluation, discipline, and maintaining personnel records.
- Ensure quality care delivery by coordinating with wellness leaders and addressing resident requests promptly.
- Serve as a liaison among management, residents, families, and external community entities.
- Conduct competitive market analyses and implement marketing and sales strategies to generate leads and close placements.
- Represent the community publicly and promote its presence locally.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and ensure adherence to all safety and emergency protocols.
- Supervise incident investigations and maintain a safe living environment.
Qualifications
- Possession of state-required licenses and certifications relevant to assisted living facility leadership.
- Strong customer service and public relations abilities.
- Experience working with senior populations and managing senior living facilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated integrity and leadership capabilities.
- Physical capacity to perform job duties including bending, reaching, lifting 40-50 pounds, and standing for long periods.
- Willingness and ability to spend at least 30% of work time traveling to referral sources within the market area.
