Electrical Technician - Low Voltage (LV)

About the Role

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician specializing in low voltage (below 500V) to join their team. This full-time onsite position in Saudi Arabia focuses on supporting operations and maintenance projects by managing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and testing low voltage electrical systems such as wiring networks, distribution and motor starter panels, LV switchgear, control panels, and lighting setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in low voltage electrical wiring and networks.
• Perform maintenance on lighting fixtures, street lighting, and other related LV electrical equipment.
• Handle LV electrical control boards, panels, switchgear, and motor starters.
• Interpret electrical schematics and drawings to guide maintenance and installation work.
• Conduct testing and assist in commissioning low voltage electrical installations.
• Utilize standard electrical tools, power hand tools, and testing devices safely.
• Carry out inspections on electrical connections, panels, wiring, and equipment.
• Adhere strictly to electrical safety standards and employ appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Support both preventive and corrective maintenance activities in facility management projects.
• Maintain punctuality, discipline, and effective communication with supervisors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Technology, Electricity, or related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience for candidates holding a 3-year technical diploma.
• Proficiency with low voltage electrical systems including wiring, switchgear, and panels.
• Ability to read and utilize electrical diagrams for maintenance and installation.
• Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Capability to follow directions, work under supervision, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in facility management, operation and maintenance, or building facilities maintenance.
• Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, lighting systems, control panels, and distribution panels.
• Ability to successfully complete electrical wiring and trade assessments.
• Organizational skills and basic computer literacy.
• Willingness to assist team members and share technical knowledge.
