Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Duty Manager plays a pivotal role within the Front Office team, ensuring smooth operational management and exceptional guest service. Key responsibilities include maintaining a visible management presence across public and back-of-house areas, handling guest complaints promptly with documented investigations and responses circulated to senior leaders, and attending necessary operational meetings such as morning briefings and emergency response team sessions. The role involves overseeing shift handovers, prioritizing tasks efficiently, making timely decisions under pressure, supporting the Front Office Manager and team leaders in supervising front-of-house departments, and fully participating as an active Emergency Response Team member.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years' experience in a five-star hotel environment
• A minimum of 2 years in a Duty Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent leadership role
• Desirable operational exposure in other hotel divisions or similar industries
• Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Excellent organizational skills with an aptitude for multitasking and keen attention to detail
• Robust problem-solving capabilities and experience with crisis management training
