Position Summary

This full-time onsite role in Leeds requires the Door Supervisor to manage venue access by verifying IDs, enforcing age and entry policies, and overseeing customer conduct. Responsibilities include controlling crowd flow, handling queues, performing security checks, collaborating with venue and emergency personnel, and documenting incidents—all while complying with health and safety guidelines. A professional, courteous approach that maintains a visible security presence is essential.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a valid SIA Door Supervisor license or the ability to obtain one; comprehensive knowledge of security and safety protocols.
• Proven experience in door supervision or similar security roles, including conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities to interact respectfully with a diverse clientele and team.
• Keen observation, sound decision-making, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
• Competency in writing clear and accurate incident reports.
• Physical stamina to remain standing for long durations and to conduct standard security checks; first aid certification is beneficial.
