Role Overview
The Distribution Specialist role is a full-time remote position focused on managing the efficient distribution of study resources and materials specifically for UPSC aspirants. Responsibilities encompass overseeing digital and physical inventory, organizing dispatch timelines, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery to members and partner networks. The specialist will maintain precise records, liaise with mentors and administrative teams to forecast resource requirements, and promptly address any distribution challenges. Additionally, they will provide communication updates on material availability and recommend enhancements to distribution workflows to improve accessibility and reliability.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proficient in distribution and inventory management to optimize resource flow and maintain stock integrity.
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude to assist members and resolve inquiries professionally.
- Basic sales capabilities to advocate for courses, materials, or memberships as needed.
- Competency in spreadsheet applications, order tracking systems, and general office software tools.
- Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail, capable of handling multiple responsibilities independently in a remote work environment.
- Preferred previous experience in distribution, logistics, or operational coordination roles.
- Knowledge of the UPSC preparation process or familiarity with educational materials is advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical expertise in operations, business, or a related discipline.
- Experience level up to 10 years in distribution or closely related functions.
