Role Overview

The Director position is a full-time role based in Doha, Qatar, requiring on-site presence. This role entails managing audit and accounting projects with a focus on quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and prompt service delivery. The Director will lead and mentor diverse professional teams, maintain strong client relations, review financial documentation, and provide strategic advice on compliance and regulatory issues. Responsibilities also include supporting business expansion initiatives, enhancing firm activities, and cooperating with regional branches to ensure consistent operational excellence and service quality.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary accounting or audit teams.
• Proficient knowledge in audit, assurance, and accounting practices, including financial statement reviews and adherence to international accounting standards.
• Strong relationship management skills with clients, capable of advising on complex financial and regulatory challenges.
• Experience in strategic business planning and business development aimed at growth and operational enhancement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is advantageous.
• Pertinent professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalents, along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related disciplines.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural workplace, maintaining high ethical standards and meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous leadership positions in auditing or accounting firms within the GCC or global markets are considered highly valuable.
