Digital Image Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)

About the Role

Little Emperors seeks a detail-focused and well-organized Digital Image Assistant for a three-month fixed-term contract. This role aims to ensure that hotel galleries on our platform present the most current and high-quality photography, elevating the user experience for our members. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, you will be responsible for sourcing, reviewing, editing, organizing, uploading, and conducting quality checks on hotel images while maintaining brand consistency.

Main Responsibilities

• Regularly review and refresh hotel image galleries across the Little Emperors platform.
• Choose the best images based on quality and uniformity to effectively portray each hotel and its amenities, complying with brand guidelines.
• Crop, resize, and optimize images to fit platform requirements.
• Maintain image quality, consistency, and brand compliance.
• Organize digital image assets using clear file naming conventions.
• Upload and accurately tag images within the content management system (CMS).
• Perform quality assurance checks to guarantee proper display on desktop and mobile devices.
• Work with the Head of Brand to prioritize hotels and address any missing or inconsistent imagery.
• Monitor progress in clearing the image backlog and provide frequent status updates.
• Assist the marketing team with various content and image-related tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Exceptional organizational capabilities to handle extensive digital asset collections.
• Keen attention to detail with an aptitude for identifying errors and inconsistencies.
• A strong sense of visual aesthetics including image composition and quality.
• Interest in photography, digital media, or luxury travel industries.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while managing time efficiently.
• Proactive mindset and eagerness to acquire new skills.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing tools.
• Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Knowledge of image optimization for online platforms.
• Exposure to hospitality, travel, or digital content through employment, internships, academic projects, or personal interests.

Selection Process

• Initial interview to discuss background, motivation for the role, and fit with Little Emperors.
• Practical image editing test involving a timed task on a sample hotel gallery, focusing on image choice, organization, detail orientation, and overall work quality.
