  • Maintain and update the Quality Control Plan (QCP) management activities.
  • Provide support for the IRS ICAM office based in Washington, DC as needed.
  • Offer guidance to government leadership on IT system usage and business process enhancements.
  • Support business process reengineering and system modernization projects.
  • Ensure program compliance with contracts, service standards, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with transition planning and knowledge transfer activities when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree mandatory; candidates with four years of relevant experience may substitute education requirement.
  • Must hold Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Preferably, seven or more years of experience in program, project, or operations management supporting federal or enterprise IT programs or large-scale operations.
  • Experience managing dispersed teams and multi-location projects.
  • Understanding of HSPD-12 directives, PIV credentialing, FIPS 201, PKI, and Federal ICAM concepts.
  • Experience with credential issuance and maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with the USAccess system and federal credentialing environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Fixed and Mobile Credentialing Units, Fargo printers, laptop/desktops, copier/multifunction devices, and Light Activation Kits preferred.
  • Skilled in Quality Control Plan management, risk mitigation, workforce management, and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical abilities and capacity for independent task completion.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Availability during Eastern Time business hours for meetings and reporting tasks.
  • Eligibility for IRS staff-level access via background check (MBI standard), tax and credit checks is required.
  • U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident status as per position specifications.
