Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Age at least 18 years
- Valid driver's license and proof of car insurance
- Reliable vehicle for deliveries
- Clean driving record that aligns with company standards
- Navigation skills to find addresses within the delivery area, including multi-story buildings
- Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and assist in store operations
- Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery to storage and work areas
- Prepare menu items as needed
- Receive and manage telephone orders
- Conduct inventory checks and complete paperwork
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities daily
Communication and Cognitive Skills
- Comprehend and provide accurate written and verbal instructions
- Interact effectively with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and by phone
- Quick and precise mathematical calculations and cash handling
- Proficient use of computer keyboards or touch screens for order entry
- Good motor coordination for fast and exact movements
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Exposure to various temperatures, from coolers to hot kitchen areas
- Handling hot surfaces and working around sharp or mechanical components
- Possible exposure to food odors and dust
- Physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), carrying various supplies, pushing and pulling dollies, climbing ladders or stairs, stooping, crouching, reaching, and continuous use of hands and arms
- Ability to distinguish temperature differences and depth perception
