Delivery Driver

Role Overview

Delivery Drivers are a vital part of GSF Car Parts, representing the company by delivering automotive parts to customers while ensuring exceptional customer service. They help maintain customer relationships by sharing valuable feedback and guaranteeing prompt delivery within the agreed timeframes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers’ locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
• Maintain consistently high standards of customer service throughout deliveries.
• Provide the branch with insightful feedback regarding customer and competitor activity.
• Properly load vehicles following company procedures.
• Collect customer returns as necessary.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks.
• Support warehouse operations when needed.
• Assist with deliveries related to Inter-Branch Transfers as required.

Work Schedule

Typical workweek averages 41 hours, Monday through Friday, with alternate Saturdays worked.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Possesses at least three years of driving experience.
• Has excellent knowledge of the area within a 40-mile radius of the branch location.
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role is essential.
• Understands the importance of delivering excellent customer service consistently.
• Demonstrates punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Customer-oriented, motivated, and willing to go beyond expectations.
