Job Overview
An industry-leading global technology organization is seeking a skilled Data Operations Analyst to join a prestigious team overseeing substantial operational datasets that underpin government, civic, and public sector programs throughout Europe. This role offers a unique chance to engage in problem-solving around data, enhance operational workflows, and collaborate at the intersection of analytics, engineering, and business operations.
The team is currently redesigning data management practices by incorporating automation and artificial intelligence into existing processes. As a Data Operations Analyst, you will play an integral role in elevating data quality, conducting validation at scale, and helping mold new operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze extensive operational datasets to uncover trends, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Generate actionable recommendations grounded in data insights and business metrics.
- Conduct rigorous data validation and quality assurance activities.
- Execute SQL queries and navigate relational databases proficiently.
- Construct, review, and sustain complex operational datasets essential for program success.
- Manage and update CRM systems with accurate data entries.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test novel product releases and data pipelines.
- Monitor technical signals and investigate any irregularities or anomalies promptly.
- Contribute to process enhancement initiatives by promoting increased automation and AI adoption.
- Engage cross-functionally with stakeholders from operations, engineering, and program management teams.
- Support major European electoral projects through precise and efficient data handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Data Operations, Analytics, Data Quality, or Data Management roles.
- Strong SQL expertise for querying and managing databases.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and deliver business-oriented recommendations.
- Experience in quality assurance, data validation, or operational auditing.
- Comfort working alongside technical and engineering teams.
- Effective stakeholder communication and management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Python programming.
- Knowledge of data pipeline development and maintenance.
- Experience in software or system testing.
- Exposure to government, civic, or political data environments.
- Understanding of process automation techniques.

Additional Information
- Contract duration: 11 months.
- Location: Dublin, Ireland with hybrid working model (3 days per week onsite).
- Salary: €76,000 per annum.
