Role Overview

The Customer Delivery Driver role involves delivering customer orders efficiently and with excellent service across specified time slots in Newry. Work Schedule and Availability

• Sunday: 1:15 PM to 5:15 PM
• Monday: 1:15 PM to 7:15 PM
• Friday: 1:15 PM to 7:15 PM
• Saturday: 2:15 PM to 8:15 PM

Contracted shifts will be scheduled within these availability windows, with a minimum of 12 hours weekly (typically guaranteed 16 hours). Shift schedules are communicated at least three weeks in advance, with flexibility options discussed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery van and trays used.
• Keep delivery yard neat and clear of rubbish, including picking litter found.
• Perform tray washing duties as part of the cleaning process.
• Load the van and verify its roadworthiness before departure.
• Communicate with customers regarding order changes, substitutions, and handle refunds professionally.
• Handle all products and deliveries carefully and respectfully.
• Inform customers that substitutions will not incur additional charges.
• Deliver orders within the scheduled customer time slots.
• Call customers ahead if arriving early and notify store if running 30+ minutes late.
