Team and Role Overview
The Global Catalogue team acts as the communicative hub between Warner Music Catalogue labels and international territories, focusing on marketing artists in the streaming era. This includes working with legendary artists like Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and Madonna, as well as contemporary acts such as Muse and Clean Bandit. The team continuously reinvents the catalogue through innovative marketing strategies and digital platform engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multinational group of multimedia designers and creatives.
- Define the strategic direction and operational standards of the global creative department, establishing processes and cultivating a high-performance in-house production team.
- Remain actively involved in creative design, particularly for high-profile projects and complex briefs.
- Champion creative excellence by providing focused feedback and aligning design with performance goals.
- Create and refine repeatable storytelling formats that enhance narrative delivery.
- Implement efficient workflow and production processes, including intake and prioritization systems to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across multiple time zones.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior multimedia designer with hands-on expertise in social, digital, and campaign-focused creative work.
- Strong audience insight skills enabling nuanced tone and format adaptation to effectively communicate stories.
- Proven leadership capabilities in developing designers and elevating creative output.
- Highly organized and process-oriented, adept at managing numerous projects balancing speed and quality.
- Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, with a passion for building teams and systems from inception.
- Collaborative nature, composure under pressure, and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Background in music, entertainment, or culturally-driven brands, with a robust understanding of fan behaviors and platform dynamics.
- Expertise in social-first content strategies with awareness of trends across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Experience supervising external creative agencies or freelancers and upholding stringent creative standards.
- Strong curiosity for new creative technologies, formats, and tools.
