Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Contractor Coordinator based in South Guildford, WA, responsible for overseeing contractor and vendor activities to ensure planned maintenance projects are executed safely and timely. This role involves handling reactive maintenance tasks, monitoring asset performance, and recommending improvements for maintenance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate contractors and vendors to execute planned maintenance with a focus on safety and schedule adherence.
- Manage reactive maintenance requests by allocating tasks to suitable service providers.
- Monitor and analyze asset performance to suggest enhancement of maintenance processes and reliability.
- Ensure all contractors comply with site procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
- Create scopes of work and manage maintenance activities while adhering to budget constraints.
- Maintain precise asset data, keep updated maintenance records, and oversee preventative maintenance schedules.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience coordinating contractors and vendors across various maintenance operations.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge in asset maintenance with solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with both internal teams and external service providers.
- Analytical approach with keen attention to detail, asset data management, and reporting capabilities.
