About the Role

Join KPMG Canada as a Contract Specialist dedicated to supporting the Contingent Labour Office (CLO), which partners with business units to efficiently engage external resources while balancing business needs and risk mitigation. This role involves overseeing processes related to external resource onboarding, management, renewals, and departures for all Canadian functions and locations, handling a diverse portfolio exceeding 1000 resources annually. Embracing a customer-centric approach, the CLO Specialist acts as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, continuously optimizing workflows, technology use, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and support Hiring Managers in engaging external resources critical to project and client needs.
• Leverage technology to enhance CLO processes and resource use experience.
• Lead initiatives to improve internal procedures, maintain updated documentation, and support training efforts.
• Manage case intake conversations and provide walkthroughs on the vendor management system.
• Conduct due diligence on external resources, including background checks and compliance verification.
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding case progress.
• Document information to support reporting, analytics, and compliance audits.
• Handle inquiries and triage requests effectively to meet business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 5 years experience in case management or related roles, preferably involving contract labour or contingent workforce.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including senior leaders, external contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle a high volume of complex work efficiently.
• Skilled in prioritizing competing demands and delivering high-quality service consistently.
• Experience with vendor management systems (e.g., Flextrack, Beeline) and proficiency in MS Excel and ServiceNow is advantageous.
• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is required.

Additional Information

• Primary work location in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, with potential for remote work and occasional office presence.
• Salary range between $55,000 and $82,000, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
