Job description
Position Summary
Six Red Marbles is a company specializing in designing educational experiences and content across K–12, higher education, workforce development, and trade publishing. We create comprehensive courses, programs, assessments, and learning experiences for institutions and publishers requiring scalable high-quality educational materials.
We are seeking a Content & Campaign Strategy Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of our marketing campaigns — from initial strategy through to polished, ready-to-publish content. This role requires a strategic thinker who can weave together discrete marketing assets into cohesive programs over time, with responsibility for managing video and podcast productions, currently weighted approximately 60% on higher education, 20% K–12, and 20% other sectors.
If you are a marketer frustrated when content pieces exist in isolation rather than as parts of integrated campaigns, this position is an ideal fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed campaign plans translating the Marketing Director's strategy into thematically consistent, well-structured, and sequenced content programs across multiple channels.
- Lead creation and execution of full content campaigns across Six Red Marbles' verticals including higher education, K–12, trade publishing, corporate training, and workforce development, ensuring all content assets are interconnected and follow a clear schedule.
- Write and produce high-quality, deployable content in diverse formats such as blogs, thought leadership articles, multi-step email sequences, white papers, landing page copy, case studies, and promotional one-pagers.
- Design and analyze A/B tests for emails, content, and campaign elements; interpret data to optimize performance and apply learnings to future initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, learning experience designers, editorial teams, and business development to gather insights and translate them into market-focused content tailored to each vertical.
- Manage all webinar-related content tasks, including topic ideation, host selection, promotional copywriting, follow-up communications, and reporting outcomes.
- Partner with the Marketing Associate who handles the platforms and technical channels; your role is to own content quality and campaign coherence while they manage distribution systems.
- Oversee production of video content such as client testimonials, promotional reels, and marketing videos from concept through vendor coordination to publishing handoff, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign messages.
- Lead all podcast operations for DigitalEDU Dialogues, including monthly episode planning, guest outreach and briefing, production management, and promotion.
- Identify opportunities to repurpose successful content to maximize reach and value across different platforms and audiences.
- Continuously monitor campaign effectiveness and content performance, converting data insights into actionable improvements and recommending innovative content strategies, channels, or experiments in response to market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of professional marketing experience involving comprehensive ownership of content and campaigns beyond isolated content creation.
- A strategic mindset oriented around campaigns, understanding how individual pieces connect to an integrated marketing journey and overall goals.
- Exceptional writing skills adaptable to varied audiences including K–12 curriculum leaders, higher education administrators, and trade publishing executives, maintaining clarity and appropriate tone.
- Experience managing end-to-end video and podcast production pipelines without needing to be a technical specialist.
- Proficient in designing, executing, and interpreting A/B tests to guide content and campaign optimization.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, self-motivation, and reliable delivery without requiring constant supervision.
- Background or strong interest in educational technology or education markets is advantageous, with emphasis on quick learning and intellectual curiosity over narrow domain experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, content calendars, webinar tools, and campaign analytics is beneficial.
