Computer Vision Data Annotation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Computer Vision Data Annotation Specialist to join on a contract basis. This role involves reviewing and labeling images and video frames, with an emphasis on detailed hand pose landmarks for AI and machine learning datasets. The position offers compensation ranging from $21 to $70 per hour depending on skill and experience, with an expected commitment of 10-40 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate images and video data, specifically focusing on left and right hand pose landmarks.
• Confirm accurate identification of hands in varied scenarios to maintain data quality.
• Identify and report challenging cases such as occlusions and motion blur.
• Follow comprehensive annotation guidelines and quality standards to ensure consistency.
• Manage large amounts of data while upholding high accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on annotations previously completed as part of ongoing data integrity efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience annotating images or videos for machine learning or AI-based projects.
• Familiarity with annotation software platforms.
• Keen eye for detail and strong spatial visualization abilities.
• Basic understanding of computer vision principles, including landmarks and bounding boxes.
• Experience working with datasets related to hand or human pose estimation is preferred.
