Overview

We are seeking an experienced Computer Scientist with a PhD to join a high-impact data creation initiative that aids one of the world's foremost LLM laboratories. This remote contract role allows you to contribute deep computer science expertise by creating domain-specific, rigorous problems that drive the evolution of cutting-edge language models.

Role Details

• Work remotely with a fully flexible schedule; no fixed hours required.
• Complete 4 to 6 challenging tasks per week, dedicating several focused hours to each.
• Compensation ranges from $70 to $90 per hour, paid weekly via Stripe or Wise as an independent contractor.
• Engagement is ongoing with rolling applications and possible project extensions based on performance and organizational needs.
• The selection process includes a brief screening and interview totaling approximately 20 to 40 minutes.

Qualifications and Skills

• PhD in Computer Science from a top-tier academic institution.
• Ability to produce technically precise and high-quality problem sets with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to follow intricate, multi-step guidelines accurately across various assignments.
• Excellent written English skills for clear communication of findings and reasoning.
• Self-driven delivery management without direct supervision.
• Strong analytical aptitude suitable for training and evaluating advanced large language models.
• Eligibility to work as an independent contractor; H-1B and STEM OPT visa holders are currently not supported.
