Overview
The role of Communications Manager at Moët Hennessy Germany is pivotal in enhancing the allure of luxury brands by leveraging comprehensive communication strategies. This position requires managing earned media presence for select brands in the MH Wines & Spirits portfolio within Germany, devising and executing communication projects alongside local brand teams to boost brand desirability, visibility, and consumer engagement through immersive experiences.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead communication initiatives for Moët Hennessy Germany's designated brands, crafting multi-channel, integrated communication plans collaboratively with Maisons and local teams.
- Contribute to shaping the overall communication strategy and co-steer the PR agenda to meet key commercial outcomes and enhance brand appeal across the portfolio.
- Maintain exemplary local communications standards, ensuring the market relevance and industry-leading creative executions.
- Set, monitor, and adapt performance KPIs to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
- Expand and nurture a robust PR network involving key media contacts and opinion leaders, including global Moët Hennessy and LVMH stakeholders to maximize coverage and impact.
- Provide training and updates on communication trends to the German Marketing team, fostering innovation and awareness.
- Develop actionable communications strategies covering diverse media channels including lifestyle, daily, special interest press, and when applicable, TV and radio for major activations.
- Drive consumer-centric initiatives across all brand communications to support long-term business growth with immersive, creative brand platforms tailored locally.
- Analyze and report PR outcomes locally and globally; maintain an up-to-date PR database facilitating stakeholder connection.
- Manage day-to-day PR tasks such as press release creation, editing, translations, timely material delivery, media coverage monitoring, budget oversight, and cross-department coordination.
- Serve as liaison for local and Maison PR teams, ensuring brand consistency and efficient press relations management.
- Oversee local sponsoring and partnership initiatives.
- Lead corporate communication efforts and maintain active engagement with EMEA & Global communication teams to bring innovation and visibility to Germany.
- Highlight brand sustainability efforts through targeted communication actions.
- Enhance internal communication flows, coaching teams to effectively amplify key messages within MH Germany and internationally.
- Conceive and implement engaging press events and brand experiences, including launches, exhibitions, and press days to elevate brand equity, managing associated budgets and schedules.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business with a focus on Communication.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory; French language skills are advantageous.
- Minimum of five years' experience in PR or media roles within luxury companies or agencies in Germany.
- Established relationships with German publishers, chief editors, and lifestyle influencers.
- Deep understanding of German consumer behaviors and content preferences.
- Expertise in communication planning and working collaboratively within multifunctional teams.
- Proven strategic thinking skills with the capability to translate strategy into effective execution.
- Strong knowledge of digital media landscapes and luxury brand positioning, particularly related to Moët Hennessy brands.
- Experience facilitating luxury events and experiential marketing for key opinion leaders and media.
