Role Overview
This full-time remote position is for a CNC Laser Machine Operator who will be responsible for setting up, programming, and running CNC laser machinery used to create signage, branding items, and other printed components in accordance with project specifications. The operator will interpret technical drawings, prepare raw materials, monitor machine operations, inspect final products to ensure quality standards, and conduct routine maintenance to uphold safety and efficiency. Coordination with design and production teams is essential to meet deadlines. The role also involves troubleshooting minor machine issues and ensuring adherence to company protocols and safety guidelines.
Key Qualifications
- Proven ability in operating and handling CNC laser machines.
- Experience with machining and milling processes relevant to signage and printed parts fabrication.
- Competency in quality control, including measurement, inspection, and compliance with technical specifications.
- Familiarity with basic CNC programming, machine setup procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, CAD files, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills, capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards applicable to manufacturing or fabrication settings.
- Previous work experience in printing, signage, fabrication, or related fields is a plus.
- Technical diploma or certification in machining, CNC operation, or similar disciplines is preferred.
