Role Summary
As a Client Service Associate, you will support the Advisory Team and high-net-worth clients by delivering reliable, high-quality administrative and service support. This position calls for strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management abilities, along with deep knowledge of registered plan accounts and their administration. You will help ensure client needs are handled accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Private Wealth team to provide a strong client experience by handling requests accurately and within required timelines.
- Work through complex questions and issues for advisors and internal teams, while looking for ways to improve processes.
- Keep client records complete and accurate in CRM tools such as Salesforce, and support audit review, reporting, and data quality controls.
- Spot opportunities to simplify workflows, improve templates, and strengthen day-to-day operational practices.
- Continue learning and developing skills to stay current and grow in the role.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services, particularly in operations or client service roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Registered Plan accounts, including related rules, regulations, transaction processing, and issue resolution.
- Good understanding of Canadian investment securities, industry processing standards, compliance requirements, and CRA guidelines.
- Comfort using MS Outlook, Excel, and Word, with prior experience using Salesforce.
- Excellent client service and relationship management capabilities.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational discipline.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated approach with the initiative to research, analyze, and solve problems independently.
- An undergraduate degree in business or finance is considered an asset.
- Relevant financial services credentials such as CSC or CIM are considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
