Position Overview
JN Bank Limited invites qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the role of Client Relationship Officer. This position focuses on originating mortgage loans alongside other retail banking products like auto loans, unsecured loans, credit cards, lines of credit, as well as savings and checking accounts. The complete loan lifecycle—from initial inquiry to disbursement—will be managed by the incumbent. Tasks include providing product information, conducting preliminary and general interviews, handling document collection and processing, loan submission, maintaining customer follow-up, and updating on loan status. Customer generation will be from both referrals and external prospecting efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with both new and existing customers to ensure terms between the bank and customers are fully met.
- Consistently exceed customer expectations by processing all transactions within agreed service-level agreements.
- Utilize the CRM system (Salesforce) daily to capture and organize customer data, fostering an improved understanding of customer needs and strengthening relationships.
- Contact new customers within 48 hours and reach out to each existing customer at least once every six months using the CRM to record interactions.
- Develop and implement effective calling strategies to grow loan and deposit portfolios, increasing fee and interest income by identifying sales opportunities among assigned clients and prospects.
- Evaluate customers' creditworthiness by conducting thorough analyses of their financial histories and current statuses.
- Maintain the quality of the loan portfolio through consistent follow-up on delinquent accounts and proposing restructuring options as needed.
- Initiate sales prospecting activities targeting retail customers through external channels and CRM-based marketing tactics, primarily within the designated area, but also beyond.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the financial services sector.
- Exposure to mortgage and personal credit products.
- Familiarity with the Group’s products and services is advantageous.
- Possession of a reliable motor vehicle is required.

Additional Information
This role is a 2-year fixed-term contract based in Kingston, Jamaica.
