Position Overview
The Client Relations Manager for Small Group serves as the primary liaison for organizational clients, ensuring the effective delivery and satisfaction of Employee Assistance Program services. This full-time exempt role works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster client engagement, encourage program usage, and guarantee service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact point for numerous EAP client accounts, maintaining proactive collaboration and communication.
- Develop and sustain relationships with HR teams, leadership, and key client stakeholders while balancing client engagement and productivity.
- Work jointly with team members to understand client requirements and implement regular supportive interactions.
- Identify unique client needs and coordinate with colleagues to modify programs accordingly, ensuring client satisfaction with EAP offerings.
- Operate within a team of Client Relations Managers addressing both transactional and performance-related client demands.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation as part of the client support system.
- Manage new client onboarding including service setup, training, and organized communication strategies.
- Partner with internal departments to align standard EAP offerings with client-specific objectives and company culture.
- Efficiently oversee client accounts ensuring access to all EAP services and promotional materials are provided to HR and Benefits contacts.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, issues, and escalations to maintain satisfaction and service quality.
- Design and implement engagement plans to increase awareness and use of EAP services among employees.
- Organize and deliver presentations, webinars, and training sessions for employees and management covering EAP services and wellness topics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- At least three years of experience in account management, client services, or similar roles, preferably within EAP, health and wellness, or social services sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including aptitude for presentations and public speaking.
- Analytical ability to interpret utilization data and generate actionable insights.
- Skilled in project management, juggling multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of mental health, wellness, and organizational behavior is advantageous.
