Job Overview
The CAMO Engineer is responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities are executed by authorized maintenance organizations in compliance with approved Aircraft Maintenance data and the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP). The role is crucial in maintaining continuous airworthiness and supporting maintenance engineering within the CAMO team.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee that modifications and repairs meet approved standards.
- Ensure all maintenance follow the approved AMP and are released per the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).
- Implement all applicable airworthiness directives and mandatory service bulletins.
- Coordinate appropriately with accepted maintenance organizations for aircraft servicing.
- Confirm rectification of all known defects according to approved maintenance data.
- Manage scheduled maintenance coordination, application of directives, service bulletins, replacement of limited life parts, and component inspections.
- Maintain and declare all continuing airworthiness records accurately.
- Verify that mass and balance statements are current and accurate.
- Manage relationships between Maintenance Organizations and Airbus Saudi Ltd-CAMO.
- Apply and review continuing airworthiness management arrangements with Operators and Authorities as required.
- Evaluate non-mandatory service bulletins for customer acceptance policies.
- Analyze and communicate Airbus Operational Technical (AOT), Operational Limitations (AOL), Component Maintenance (COM), and Service Information Letters (SIL) from the factory.
- Assess Configuration Control Board (CCB) decisions and report technical delays or cancellations.
- Control airworthiness limitations and manage work orders based on AMP maintenance items, repair orders, inspections, and checks across the fleet.
- Follow up on Engine Condition Trend Monitoring reports and feedback.
- Review aircraft manuals and AMP with AMTAC support.
- Update and control damage charts.
- Collect and safely store aircraft technical records.
- Ensure proper storage of hard-time components and that software on installed components is up to date.
- Process and archive all maintenance data collected.
- Generate reliability documentation for aircraft and components.
- Oversee Hold Item List (HIL) and Pending Item List (PIL) related to defects.
- Report mandatory and maintenance findings occurrences to Type Certificate Holders and Certification Authorities.

Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Customer Services Engineering support within the aeronautical sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations including EASA, FAA, GACA Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 145.
