Business Relationship Manager – ICT - Level 7

Role Overview

This position requires aligning ICT initiatives with the overall organizational strategy, ensuring business requirements are properly validated and met. The role involves managing the ICT project portfolio including prioritization, planning, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Business Systems Analysts and Business Process Improvement Analysts to ensure alignment and effective problem solving.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain robust communication channels between ICT and business divisions.
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, audit protocols, and relevant regulatory standards to maintain compliance.
• Manage risk, assure quality, and drive continuous enhancements across all ICT projects.
• Lead change management efforts to facilitate smooth adoption of ICT systems within the organization.
• Monitor performance of ICT vendors, oversee contract management, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for requirements, processes, and governance artifacts.
• Support the organization's digital transformation by aligning business processes with technological solutions.
• Mentor junior staff including graduate trainees and analysts, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous team development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working in ICT and business environments.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in Business Relationship Management.
• Professional certifications relevant to the role, such as Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM), PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, ITIL, COBIT 2019, or equivalent certifications.

• Capability to lead change management to ensure ICT system adoption and utilization.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and ensuring SLA compliance for optimal ICT service delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude combined with operational risk management acumen.
• Able to perform well in multidisciplinary, high-pressure, and mission-critical environments.
• Competence in technical reporting, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Effective prioritization skills to support operational excellence and improvement initiatives.
