Key Responsibilities
- Discover, develop, and close new business within fintech, digital assets, and enterprise markets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with important industry stakeholders such as financial institutions and technology providers.
- Work alongside product and engineering teams to align market demands with product strategies.
- Lead outbound marketing, perform market research, and analyze competitors to guide Utila's growth.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, partner discussions, and events.
- Manage the complete business development cycle including prospecting, negotiations, and relationship upkeep.
- Monitor key performance indicators, sales pipelines, and market developments for leadership review.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within fintech, banking, anti-money laundering, cybersecurity, or digital assets sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the financial ecosystem including fintech platforms, payment systems, exchanges, custodians, or enterprise security solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; an MBA is a plus.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Track record of identifying opportunities, building pipelines, and successfully closing deals.
- Self-motivated with an ownership mentality suitable for a dynamic startup environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% annually, typically monthly visits.
- Preferred experience with crypto/digital asset infrastructure, blockchain technology, or financial platforms.
- Mandarin language proficiency is mandatory.
