Business Analyst (Excel)

Role Overview

This contract position requires expertise as an Excel Specialist working remotely. The role encompasses designing advanced business scenarios using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, analyzing and enhancing Office Open XML document formats, and collaborating with AI models to support document generation and quality assessment across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct complex business cases utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Examine and appraise Office Open XML files such as .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx.
• Partner with AI technologies to create, review, and refine business-related documents.
• Evaluate AI-produced content, providing detailed critiques on their accuracy and quality.
• Formulate practical business use cases spanning multiple sectors and operational functions.
• Record insights and suggest improvements to optimize AI outputs.
• Effectively communicate analyses with multidisciplinary teams and those involved in AI training.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel including advanced spreadsheet functions and workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint as well as familiarity with Office Open XML document standards.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in business analysis and document assessment.
• Proven ability to create reports, build models, and craft business scenarios.
• Excellent communication aptitude both written and oral.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to operate independently as well as collaborate effectively in a remote setup.

Additional Information

This position offers a flexible commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week, compensated on an hourly basis ranging from $20 up to $60 per hour. The application process includes a brief 20-minute initial application, followed by resume evaluation and an interview phase.
