Key Details

• Location: Dalby, Queensland
• Hourly pay ranges from $35.03 to $37.90 depending on experience
• Overtime compensated at 1.5 times the standard rate after 8 hours, and double pay beyond 10 hours
• Average work week ranges from 45 to 55 hours, Monday to Friday, plus occasional Saturdays
• Includes a comprehensive 10-day training for new hires

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee batching operations as the lead batcher
• Operate the front-end loader; prior experience preferred
• Conduct inventory stock takes regularly
• Perform pre-start equipment and site checks
• Carry out general yard tasks and maintain site cleanliness
• Manage staff scheduling and task delegation
• Assist with procurement and purchasing procedures
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards

Candidate Profile

• Hold or be prepared to acquire a Construction White Card
• Competent computer literacy; familiarity with SAP or batching systems is advantageous but not mandatory
• Experience operating external machinery or heavy vehicles is a plus
• Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills
• Adaptability to changes and adherence to operational guidelines
• A safety-oriented mindset with a dedication to maintaining truck cleanliness and presentation
