Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and showcase top-quality cocktails, long drinks, and a wide range of beverage specialties.
• Provide attentive consultation and service to discerning guests.
• Maintain and organize the bar area to ensure smooth operation.
• Continuously enhance the beverage menu to pleasantly surprise guests.
• Monitor compliance with hygiene and quality standards.

Candidate Profile

• Strong enthusiasm for bar culture with thorough knowledge of spirits and cocktails.
• Previous experience in a similar role; experience in upscale hospitality is preferred.
• High guest awareness paired with a positive and charismatic demeanor.
• Proficient in German language skills.
• Team-oriented, resilient, and highly adaptable.

Workplace Details

This role is part of the operational start-up for a new, modern conference hotel in Hamburg HafenCity scheduled to open on August 1, 2026. The hotel features 234 rooms aimed primarily at conference guests and offers contemporary training and meeting spaces, along with a restaurant, café, bar, and a comprehensive event and conference catering service. The facility operates seven days a week on a shift basis, combining accommodation, gastronomy, and business infrastructure into an innovative concept. Joining the pre-opening team gives you the chance to actively shape the structure and character of the operation from the outset.
