Associate - Founder's Office

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Associate for the Founder’s Office to partner closely with senior leadership. This position demands strong analytical capabilities, adept problem-solving, and the ability to execute key initiatives that impact the organization significantly. Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint is essential to deliver compelling, data-supported presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, integrate, and analyze financial data from multiple sources to prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and executive presentations that highlight actionable insights.
• Create and continually update financial models to assess business operations, facilitate scenario evaluations, and explore investment prospects, ensuring model accuracy through regular data and assumption updates.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to craft annual budget plans and conduct recurring forecasting; monitor and analyze budget-to-actual performance variances.
• Effectively communicate financial findings, forecasts, and strategic advice to leadership to support business decisions; engage cross-departmentally to align finance objectives with operational strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Economics (Honours), Commerce (Honours), Mathematics (Honours), or related disciplines.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, key metrics, and analytical tools.
• Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying and clearly conveying complex financial information.
• Highly proactive, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Skilled in balancing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
• Previous exposure to financial analysis, forecasting, or strategic planning is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the sports nutrition or consumer goods sectors adds value but is not mandatory.
