Assistant Project Manager PMC

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to oversee various construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Support the Project Manager in handling project schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Track and report project progress to ensure alignment with client requirements and expectations.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations and communication.
• Help manage project risks, address issues, and handle change requests, ensuring deliverables meet quality benchmarks.
• Prepare necessary project documentation, including reports and presentations.
• Participate in site inspections, project meetings, and client briefings.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in project management, ideally within a PMC setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in various project management software tools.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
• Experience handling large-scale construction projects.
