About the Role
Qiddiya Investment Company seeks a meticulous and seasoned Assistant Manager specializing in Procurement Compliance Audit. This position entails supervising procurement activities to ensure strict adherence to internal policies, applicable laws, and industry-leading standards. The role emphasizes promoting transparency, integrity, and operational efficiency throughout the company's procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and conduct audits assessing procurement compliance with corporate policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Examine contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements to detect compliance issues and potential risks.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and legal departments to resolve audit discrepancies and implement remedial measures.
- Create and sustain compliance structures, policies, and procedures pertinent to procurement.
- Oversee procurement workflows to identify and mitigate fraud, waste, or misuse of resources.
- Compile detailed audit documentation including findings, advice, and corrective action proposals for executive review.
- Keep abreast of evolving procurement legislation and industry trends to maintain compliance.
- Contribute to educational initiatives focused on procurement compliance and ethical practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of six years experience in procurement auditing, compliance, or similar fields.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement operations, policy frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proven expertise in carrying out audits and producing comprehensive compliance and risk evaluations.
- Strong analytical capabilities accompanied by precise attention to detail and adept problem-solving.
- Familiarity with audit and compliance software in addition to proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively interact across departments.
- Professional certifications such as CICA, CISA, or CIA are advantageous.
