Job description

Role Overview

This position involves assisting in the management and resolution of employee relations issues, supporting leadership in HR matters, and ensuring recruitment processes adhere to all regulatory and company standards. It also includes maintaining employee records, administering employee surveys, and handling daily HR communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help monitor and track employee relations concerns, ensuring effective resolution and follow-up.
  • Support management and leadership with addressing and resolving Human Resources issues.
  • Oversee hiring and recruitment to ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Inform HR management about employee relations matters requiring attention.
  • Respond to queries and concerns from staff and management about HR programs, guidelines, and policies.
  • Communicate information to employees regarding employer relations, activities, and personnel policies.
  • Review and ensure accurate upkeep of all employee documents including interview forms and eligibility verification.
  • Assist with logistics and scheduling for annual employee surveys.
  • Manage phone communications and message recording as needed.
  • Assist with hiring, training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff to foster a productive work environment.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols, reporting accidents or hazards to the management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Welcome guests professionally according to company standards.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with colleagues and clients, maintaining phone etiquette.
  • Build and sustain positive working relationships, supporting team objectives and responding constructively to concerns.
  • Utilize computer and point of sale systems to manage work-related data.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds when necessary.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in related HR functions.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience is preferred.
  • No specific licenses or certifications required.
