About the role
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Split is part of a large, fast-expanding international hotel brand. What you will do
- Coordinate the housekeeping team’s schedule based on daily and seasonal business requirements.
- Track attendance, review employee performance, and ensure department standards and procedures are followed consistently.
- Use computer systems to manage working hours, orders, and related housekeeping records.
- Plan staffing needs, support recruitment, and take part in training new team members.
- Prepare the yearly department budget and keep an eye on expenses.
- Oversee the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and all hotel public spaces.
- Work closely with other department leaders to support guest needs and maintain cleanliness standards.
- In coordination with the front office manager, manage VIP guest service and address special requests from other guests.
- Collaborate with the maintenance manager to monitor the condition of furniture and other hotel inventory.
- Keep track of consumables and equipment availability, and place replacement orders when needed.
- Arrange stock checks and monthly inventories for materials, equipment, supplies, linens, and uniforms.
- Review outcomes and recommend improvements to raise efficiency and service quality.
What we are looking for
- 2 to 3 years of prior experience in a similar role.
- Strong ability to solve problems and make sound decisions.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Good understanding of housekeeping standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
- High attention to detail and a strong quality focus.
- Comfort using MS Office.
- Fluency in English and Croatian.
- EU citizenship is required.
