Architectural Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Design Engineer to join our project team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in architectural design and consultancy, with a solid track record in coordinating complex building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects covering concept development, detailed design, construction drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar construction standards, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including structural and MEP engineers to achieve seamless project integration.
• Manage design outputs and deadlines independently within project timelines.
• Utilize advanced architectural software for drafting and BIM coordination.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in architectural design projects.
• Proven background working in architectural consultancy or design firms.
• Possession of UPDA/MMUP Grade A certification is mandatory.
• Strong skills in architectural planning, detailing, and project coordination.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM/design software tools.
• Deep understanding of Qatar's construction standards, regulations, and authority processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with major building and infrastructure projects.
• Background in consultancy with solid client and authority coordination experience.
• Prior involvement in Qatar or GCC region projects highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary team coordination.
