Applications Support Senior Specialist

Role Overview

The Applications Support Senior Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Transmed's enterprise software systems. This role involves providing production support, participating in application projects such as releases, upgrades, implementations, as well as developing user guides and conducting training.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer production support for Transmed's enterprise applications to ensure smooth operation.
• Manage change processes for both internally developed and third-party applications and systems.
• Deliver second-level technical support, including evaluation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to establishing support requirements, standard operating procedures, service levels, escalation protocols, and incident/problem management processes.
• Provide expert consultation and assist users in leveraging application features to satisfy business requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and issue resolutions within service management tools.
• Monitor application performance by generating configuration reports, analyzing root causes of issues, and executing corrective actions to prevent future problems.
• Track application changes and upgrades to ensure alignment with organizational policies, security standards, and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or an equivalent technology discipline.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
• Between three to five years of hands-on experience working with enterprise applications, relational databases, scripting languages, software administration, and application support.
• Preferably certified in Microsoft technologies, Oracle, Salesforce, ITIL, and PMP.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities to collaborate effectively across all business units and external partners.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, operating systems including Windows and Linux, SQL and Oracle databases, programming languages, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Oracle and Microsoft application platforms, enterprise mobile apps on iOS and Android, and familiarity with Java, XML, and HTML technologies.
