Position Details

• Available roles at four Adelaide plants: Lonsdale, Port Adelaide, Magill, and Smithfield.
• Both permanent and casual job opportunities exist.
• Permanent positions offer a base rate of $30.75 per hour; casual roles receive an additional 25% loading.
• Possession of a Heavy Combination (HC) license may qualify candidates for semi-agitator truck driving roles.
• Typical start times range from 4:00 AM to 6:30 AM with daily shifts up to or exceeding 10 hours and approximately 50–55 hours weekly.
• Saturday shifts are generally available and compensated at overtime rates.
• Overtime pay structure: regular hours at base rate, first two hours overtime at time-and-a-half, further overtime at double time; meal allowances apply after 10 hours per shift.
• Agitator drivers serve as mobile customer service agents, frequently engaging with diverse individuals onsite.
• Modern technology is provided to enhance safety, navigation, and load management.
• New employees complete a ten-day training program before solo operation.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum requirement: HR license; prior driving experience is favorable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with enjoyment in engaging different people onsite.
• Preference for dynamic workdays without monotony.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and well-presented vehicle, representing the company positively.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam including drug and alcohol tests; ongoing random testing implemented on site.
• Compliance with specified weight limits on certain truck seats and seatbelts for safety reasons.
• Australian work rights are mandatory.
