Role Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking an Administration Coordinator to join our Ground Services team in Doha. This position involves providing critical administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Confidential and sensitive information management is essential, alongside managing correspondence, phone communications, and personal contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute diverse secretarial and administrative tasks to support department workflows and ensure seamless office operations.
- Coordinate and maintain schedules, travel plans, and document records, including faxes and mail, to fulfill departmental requirements and properly route all correspondence.
- Handle multiple assignments and projects effectively while adhering to deadlines and safeguarding accuracy and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain a confidential filing system for department correspondence, manuals, and sensitive material.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence; respond efficiently to emails and phone communications.
- Coordinate with various departments to guarantee timely completion of requests.
- Organize necessary office resources and equipment for staff, including acquisitions for new employees.
- Maintain inventory records of department assets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience, or a Diploma/High School certificate with at least three years’ experience.
- Proficient communication skills coupled with computer literacy.
- Fluent written and spoken English capability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate self-discipline.
- Motivated, responsible, and focused work attitude.
- Capability to operate effectively in a multicultural work environment.
