About the Role

We are partnering with a prominent systems integration firm in Qatar to hire a seasoned Account Manager. This role involves spearheading new business initiatives and expanding strategic client relationships by offering a wide range of IT services and solutions within enterprise and government segments across Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in enterprise and government sectors.
  • Nurture and enhance existing strategic customer partnerships.
  • Promote solutions including system integration, cloud and hybrid cloud environments, cybersecurity, and applications such as Oracle, Microsoft, and OpenText.
  • Offer managed services, technical support, resource outsourcing, and staff augmentation.
  • Leverage data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation offerings.
  • Form strong connections with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, procurement teams, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation through negotiations to deal closure.
  • Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, tender processes, and commercial proposal development.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales teams, architects, delivery groups, and technology partners.
  • Maintain comprehensive sales pipeline records and provide accurate sales forecasts.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years in IT services sales, account management, or business development roles.
  • Experience with system integrators or IT services organizations.
  • Demonstrated success selling multiple technology solutions rather than a singular product.
  • Track record of securing and expanding enterprise or government accounts.
  • Proficiency in managing major RFPs, tenders, and long-term contracts.
  • In-depth understanding of the technology landscape in Qatar.
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable practical experience.
  • Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar with established local business relationships.
