About the Internship
This internship offers the opportunity to work on core gameplay features for a 3D arcade-style mobile game within the Unity environment. Responsibilities include implementing player mechanics, camera functionality, obstacles, collectables, scoring systems, collision detection, and the flow of gameplay including game-over and restart operations.
The role also demands creation of well-structured Unity scenes, effective use of prefabs, reusable C# scripting, UI design, concise gameplay loops, and maintaining organized project directories. Interns are expected to manage regular updates and uphold strict version control standards.
Additional duties involve testing gameplay builds, debugging, enhancing control responsiveness and performance, thoroughly documenting the implementation processes, and supporting the project from its early playable builds through to final completion.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be available to work remotely.
- Internship start date should be between August 11, 2026, and September 15, 2026.
- The internship duration is fixed at 2 months.
- Applicants should possess relevant skills and demonstrated interest in game development.
- Preference for Computer Science Engineering students.
Other Requirements
- Prior hands-on experience developing at least one or two Unity games or mini-games.
- Comfortable with C# programming, prefabs, Rigidbody and collider components, UI systems, camera setup, and implementing gameplay mechanics.
- Ability to autonomously manage Unity development tasks, translate product requirements into playable features, and clearly explain technical decisions.
- Availability for regular progress updates, screen-sharing for collaboration, swift iterative development, clear documentation, and comprehensive handover of all project-related files, scripts, and builds.
Stipend and Benefits
Monthly stipend between INR 20,000 to INR 35,000.
Interns will receive a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, and flexible working hours.
