Brain Quest is seeking a meticulous QA Tester Intern to support the quality assurance of its websites and applications. The intern will play a critical role in testing new functionality, detecting defects, validating fixes, and ensuring that products meet established quality benchmarks prior to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device tests on websites and web applications.
- Perform manual testing of new features, updates, and resolved bugs.
- Document identified bugs with precise reproduction instructions.
- Confirm bug repairs and carry out regression testing before releases.
- Evaluate UI/UX, functional elements, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Test forms, workflows, essential APIs, and integrations to ensure correct operation.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to address issues and enhance quality.
- Maintain detailed test documentation and communicate progress regularly.
- Recommend usability improvements and product enhancements based on testing insights.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Have a foundational understanding of software testing principles and practices.
- Be familiar with websites, web applications, and mobile responsiveness concepts.
- Capable of clearly reporting bugs and communicating issues effectively.
- Good problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace and project management software.
- Motivated to learn, adapt, and continuously refine testing approaches.
Additional Information
- Internship duration is six months with immediate start between August 12 and September 16, 2026.
- Position is fully remote, allowing work from home.
- Interns will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹10,000.
- Work schedule consists of five days per week.
