Role Overview and Responsibilities

We seek an experienced Workday Finance Functional Consultant with practical expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The candidate will provide expert guidance, configuration, and implementation support for Workday Finance and Professional Services Automation (PSA) solutions. Close collaboration with clients to comprehend their financial and project management needs is essential to effectively tailor Workday configurations for seamless deployment. Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with clients to analyze complex financial operations and project accounting requirements.
• Offering strategic recommendations for enhancing financial management and resource planning using Workday Finance and PSA.
• Designing and configuring Workday Finance modules focusing on PSA components like Projects, Project Billing, and Tracking, as well as core modules such as General Ledger.
• Integrating project accounting frameworks with financial reporting to optimize revenue recognition, billing, and resource utilization.
• Serving as the main liaison with clients throughout implementation, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
• Collaborating with internal and cross-departmental teams to synchronize project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Creating detailed documentation, including configuration manuals, end-user training materials, and guides.
• Conducting targeted training sessions focused on project-to-cash workflows and providing ongoing support post-implementation for successful adoption.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years’ hands-on experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and configuring Workday PSA modules related to Project and Project Billing functionalities.
• Mandatory possession of an active Workday Finance core certification (such as Workday Financials Core).
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial operations, project accounting, and best practices within Workday Finance, including General Ledger and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in configuring intricate business processes, creating custom organizational structures, and preparing advanced financial reports.
