About the Role

AfterQuery is seeking skilled professionals experienced in software engineering, computer science, or web and app development to assist in training and assessing AI models. This is a project-based contract position, fully remote with flexible hours, where you qualify once through a single evaluation and receive continuous project opportunities including code review, model evaluation, and creation of original tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform various software engineering assignments related to AI training and evaluation.
• Assess and review code and AI model outputs for accuracy and quality standards.
• Produce clear, thoroughly documented deliverables independently.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of professional software engineering experience, which includes full-time roles or significant internships.
• Proficient with at least one widely-used programming language with solid fundamentals.
• Dependable, detail-conscious, and capable of working autonomously.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay ranges between $50 and $100 per hour depending on the projects you qualify for.
• Once qualifying through a single assessment, you will be matched to ongoing projects without repeated evaluations.
• Work remotely on a flexible and asynchronous schedule.
