Washing Powder Quality Control Supervisor

About the Role

Join Sunda International as a Quality Control Supervisor for the washing powder division. This challenging position oversees all aspects of product quality during production, working hands-on to maintain standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage factors influencing product quality throughout the manufacturing process, such as finished goods, packaging, and raw material quality.
• Lead the team in implementing quality control measures and performing checks in all production facilities.
• Address and analyze product-related complaints from the market, determine root causes, and facilitate resolutions.
• Conduct quality inspections, training sessions, and assessment programs for staff.
• Supervise testing personnel to ensure timely, high-quality, and standards-compliant completion of required examinations.
• Identify and mitigate potential quality risks, enforcing corrective and preventive measures.
• Support the Quality Manager in resolving major quality issues across workshops.
• Review and handle irregularities in raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and production stages; coordinate preventive actions with relevant departments and follow up on their implementation.
• Collaborate in scheduling and monitoring the testing processes of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring timely reporting to guide production decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in a chemistry-related field.
• Prior experience in a washing powder manufacturing environment is essential.
• Demonstrable skills in planning, executing, organizing, coordinating, analyzing, and problem-solving within a team environment.
• Ability to make sound judgments and carry out duties proactively with commitment, fairness, objectivity, and clear-headed thinking.
