Job description
Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supervising a team for smooth and timely operations. This role involves coordinating logistics, maintaining a safe and organized facility, and partnering closely with quality control and operations teams to manage audiovisual equipment flows effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date and precise inventory records while optimizing storage capacity.
- Supervise and schedule a small team of warehouse executives to ensure efficient daily workflows.
- Coordinate logistics activities, overseeing timely and accurate deliveries and collections.
- Ensure a clean, well-organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Work in close collaboration with the Quality Control team to manage inbound and outbound AV equipment, ensuring all devices are properly tested, cleaned, and ready for deployment at all times.
- Plan and prioritize warehouse schedules aligned with upcoming bookings and project deadlines.
- Partner with operations teams to meet event-specific timelines effectively.
- Identify and report any shortages, damaged goods, or equipment shortfalls promptly to prevent dispatch delays.
- Prepare e-way bills and delivery challans with precision, adhering to transport and GST regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine stock audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage consumable supplies such as batteries and gaffer tape, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Coordinate shipments in and out with logistics teams to maintain smooth delivery processes.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management and operations.
- Familiarity with professional AV and technical equipment such as audio consoles, projectors, and LED walls is advantageous.
- Good understanding of inventory control systems and logistics workflows.
- Proven skills in leadership and team management.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and effective time management.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems is essential.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges from INR 28,000 to 40,000.
